I've been operating E-Commerce site on the internet for
over 10 years. For the life of me, I never understood why anyone
would want to open an ebay store? That is, until two years ago.
Ebay is the most popular commercial site on the
internet. This works to our favor for many reasons.
If you launch a new web site, it can take you 6 months to a year to
get a decent listing in the search engines. There are many
variables, but for argument sake, lets say 6 months before you will
appear in google at ANY level.
If you launch an ebay store, you'll have your products IN the google
search engine within hours. You will be in the main listings of
ebay itself within minutes. MILLIONS of people are shopping ebay
at any given hour of the day. Lets see now, where do I want to try
and sell my wigits? DAH.....
Don't get me wrong, my regular web sites are still doing very well.
One of the reasons is tying them together so the ebay visitor can click
on my ebay store to learn about me and click thru to visit my internet
storefront.
This is an excellent tactic since you pay for every item you place on
ebay. So again, there are strategies to put your products in front
of millions while keeping your cash in your pocket.
I strongly suggest selling digital products at first. Chose a
store name that will lend itself to expanding your product variety in
the future if you desire. Digital books such as ebooks, audio
books and software allow you to deliver your products from your desktop.
So at this point you do not have to worry about wholesalers or drop
shippers until you are ready to expand your product line in the future.

You can't find a cheaper provider. Also quite dependable by
all reports.
